Roblox-Ready Assets From a Prompt or a Photo
Generate props and set dressing, keep the triangle count inside Roblox's mesh limits, export GLB, and import through Studio's Asset Manager or the 3D Importer.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Roblox's triangle limit?
20,000 triangles for a single mesh part is the practical ceiling. Generated props should stay far below it: 500 to 3,000 triangles covers most environmental objects and keeps phone loading fast.
Can I import GLB into Roblox Studio?
Yes. Both the Asset Manager and the 3D Importer accept GLB, which is the format to export here since it carries geometry, materials and textures together.
Do Roblox materials match the PBR maps?
Not directly. Roblox applies its own surface appearance, so metalness and roughness are not carried across as PBR. Bake the look you want into the base colour texture and expect to tune SurfaceAppearance in Studio.
Should I use HD texture?
For most Roblox props, no. A 1024 by 1024 map is already generous, and HD texture costs extra credits that a phone-sized asset will not use.
Why does my prop look the wrong size in Studio?
Because it was generated at real-world scale. Roblox works in studs, where a character is roughly 5 studs tall. Either state the intended size in the prompt or rescale after import.
Can I generate weapons and tools?
You can generate the shape, but tools that need a grip attachment, a muzzle point or precise animation alignment are better hand-modelled. Use generation for the shape reference, then model the gameplay version.
