Terms of Service
1. Agreement to These Terms
These terms govern your use of Open3DAI, including the Studio, the format converters, the browser-side tools, the REST API and the content on this site. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
The service is intended for professional and personal creation work by adults. Where you use it on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that company, and that company is bound by them.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where the change affects billing or ownership, by email to the address on your account before it takes effect.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
An account is an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping the password confidential and for everything done through your account, including API keys you create. Notify /contact immediately if you believe a key or a password has been exposed; keys can be revoked from the account page at any time.
One person or organisation per account. Sharing a login across a team, or reselling access, is not permitted unless we have agreed to it in writing. Accounts are not transferable.
API keys are shown once when created and are stored only as a hash, with the scopes and last-used time you set. You are responsible for the scopes you grant them: a key with generation scope can spend credits.
3. Acceptable Use
Do not use the service to create or distribute material that infringes someone else's rights, depicts a real identifiable person in a misleading or harmful way, sexualises minors, promotes violence against a person or group, or violates export control or sanctions law.
Do not attempt to break the service: no probing other accounts, no circumventing rate limits or credit accounting, no bulk automated account creation, no reselling generation capacity as a proxy service, and no using the converters to process content you have no right to process.
Do not upload malware, deliberately corrupt files, or inputs designed to exhaust resources. We may suspend a task, a key or an account that endangers the stability of the service for others, and we will tell you why.
4. Credits, Plans and Billing
Generation is paid for with credits. A standard text-to-3D or image-to-3D generation costs about 10 credits on the base engine; AI texturing adds about 4 credits and HD texture another 4; Quality mode costs more than Speed mode; and each additional engine in a comparison charges the base cost again.
Free accounts receive welcome credits at signup. Starter includes 1,000 credits per month, Pro 3,500 and Max 18,000. One-time packs of 1,000, 3,500 and 18,000 credits are also available and draw from the same pool. Yearly billing saves 20 percent against paying monthly.
Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period. Credits have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and are not transferable between accounts. A failed generation is refunded automatically; a task is settled at most once, and a balance never goes below zero.
Paid purchases are not open. No charge or paid subscription is created through the production site until a payment provider is configured. Registration credits and administrator grants remain available.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the account page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; credits already granted for the current period remain usable until that period ends and do not roll over afterwards.
Credits consumed by a completed generation are not refunded, because the generation cost has already been incurred with the engine that ran it. Credits consumed by a generation that failed are returned to your balance automatically.
If a billing error charges you incorrectly, contact /contact within 30 days with the account email and the affected ledger entries. We will correct the balance or refund the amount once the error is confirmed.
6. Your Content and Ownership
You keep ownership of the models you generate and of the images and files you upload. All paid plans include a commercial licence to use the generated models, including selling them, subject to your holding the necessary rights in whatever you uploaded as a reference.
You are responsible for the inputs you provide. Do not upload photographs or artwork you do not have the right to use, and do not upload confidential material belonging to someone else. Where an upload depicts an identifiable person, you confirm you have that person's permission.
Assets are Private by default. If you make an asset public, you grant us permission to display it in galleries and promotional material, and you can withdraw that by setting it back to Private.
7. Licence to Operate the Service
You grant us a limited licence to store, copy, transmit and process your uploads and outputs for the purpose of running the service: generating a model, converting a format, showing you a preview, delivering a download, and keeping the records needed for credits and support.
That licence ends when you delete the asset or close the account, except for records we must keep for accounting and abuse prevention. We do not train models on your uploads or outputs, and we do not sell your content.
We claim no ownership of your content and we do not use it to advertise the service unless you have made the asset public.
8. Third-Party Generation Engines
The service includes adapters for third-party generation engines: Tripo3D, Meshy, Rodin and Hitem3D. An adapter runs only when the operator of this deployment has configured that provider's API key; otherwise the engine is unavailable and no request is sent to it.
When a request is routed to such an engine, the prompt or image required for that request is transmitted to that provider and handled under its own terms and privacy policy. Your use of that engine through this service is also subject to those terms.
These engines are independent services. Their names are trademarks of their respective owners, and this service is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them. Availability, output quality and pricing of a third-party engine are controlled by that provider and may change without notice.
9. Availability, Changes and Beta Features
The service is provided on an as-available basis. Generation depends on the built-in local engine and, for third-party engines, on the provider's availability, rate limits and quota. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or a specific completion time.
We may add, change or remove features. Features described as coming soon, or marked as preview, may change substantially or be withdrawn, and are excluded from any commitment about behaviour.
Scheduled maintenance and outages are announced on this site where practical. Where a generation fails because of an outage on our side or a provider's side, credits are refunded as described in section 4.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Generated models are produced by automated systems and may contain defects: non-manifold geometry, thin walls, incorrect scale or unattractive topology. You are responsible for inspecting a model before using it, and in particular before printing it, machining it or shipping it inside a product.
The service is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that output is free of third-party rights in every jurisdiction.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost production time or failed prints.
11. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, that is used for abuse, or where required by law. Where practical, we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your assets.
On termination, your right to use the service ends. Stored uploads and outputs are deleted in the normal retention cycle, and credit balances are forfeited because credits have no cash value.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, liability limits, governing law and record-keeping obligations — continue to apply.
12. Governing Law and Contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of this deployment is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Where local consumer law gives you stronger rights, those rights are unaffected.
Questions about these terms go to /contact. Billing questions go to /contact. Reports of vulnerable behaviour or security issues go to /contact.
If a dispute cannot be resolved by discussion within 30 days, it will be brought before the courts of that jurisdiction. This section does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief where necessary.
