Free Online 3D Tools

View, inspect and edit 3D files right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

◈

Free Online OBJ Viewer

This viewer opens Wavefront OBJ files directly in your browser: drop a .obj file onto the page and the mesh appears in an interactive 3D viewport with orbit, zoom and pan. Parsing happens locally with three.js, so even a 300MB model is never uploaded anywhere.

Free Online FBX Viewer

FBX is the format studios still trade game assets in, and it is the one format that carries rigs, animation, cameras, lights and units together. This viewer opens .fbx files with the three.js FBXLoader, locally in the browser, and shows you the geometry, its materials and its real proportions.

Free Online PLY Viewer

PLY is what 3D scanners, photogrammetry pipelines and research code write: triangle meshes with per-vertex colour, normals and custom properties instead of textures. This viewer loads .ply files locally with three.js and shows the scan with the colour it actually carries.

Free Online 3MF Viewer

3MF is the modern replacement for STL: a ZIP package of XML parts that keeps the things STL throws away, including units, colours, materials and separate objects. This viewer unpacks and parses the package locally in your browser, so the plate you are about to print appears with its parts and base colours intact.

Free Online USDZ Viewer

USDZ is Pixar's USD packaged as an uncompressed ZIP, and it is the format Apple chose for AR Quick Look. This viewer opens a .usdz locally in the browser so you can inspect the geometry, materials and baked textures of an AR asset without an iPhone in hand.

.blend Viewer: What You Can and Cannot Do in a Browser

There is no browser loader for .blend and no Python reader for it in this project, so we will not pretend otherwise: dropping a .blend file here cannot produce a preview. What this page gives you instead is the shortest honest route from a .blend to something that does preview, which is a GLB, OBJ or STL exported by Blender itself.

Free Online DAE Viewer

COLLADA is the open XML format that SketchUp, older Blender versions and a generation of game toolchains used to move assets between programs. This viewer parses .dae files locally with a three.js ColladaLoader, so geometry, materials and the scene hierarchy appear without installing anything.

IGES Viewer: What You Can and Cannot Do in a Browser

IGES stores exact CAD geometry — NURBS curves and surfaces — rather than triangles, and turning that into something a browser can shade requires a CAD kernel. This project has neither a browser loader nor a Python reader for it, so a .iges dropped into a tab cannot be previewed here, and we will not show you a fake one.

Free Online GLB Viewer

GLB is the single-file binary flavour of glTF: geometry, PBR materials, textures and animation packed into one buffer, which is why it is the default delivery format for the web and increasingly for engines. This viewer loads .glb files locally with a three.js GLTFLoader, so a 500MB asset is inspected without a byte leaving your machine.

◈

Free Online STL Viewer

STL is the format 3D printing standardized on: a raw triangle soup with no colour, no materials and no unit. This viewer opens both binary and ASCII .stl files locally in the browser, frames the model automatically and reports the triangle count that determines how heavy the file will be for your slicer.

Online STL Editor

This is a working mesh tool rather than a viewer with buttons: you upload an STL of up to 50MB and the operations run through a Python pipeline built on trimesh with a real CSG engine behind it. Scale by ratio or to an exact width in millimetres, hollow a solid into a shell, combine several files into one, repair holes and normals, or run a manifold check that ends in a printable verdict.

Free 3D Text Generator

Type a word, set the extrusion depth and the letterforms rebuild in a live three.js preview: no font download, no waiting, no queue. Every glyph is built from the tool's own stroke definitions and the strokes are unioned into one solid, so the result is watertight by construction and slices without warnings.
